Increase in Phishing Attempts
  • Identified
    Identified

We've received reports of a recent uptick in phishing attempts targeting our community members. We are actively identifying and deactivating fraudulent accounts that impersonate Discogs and attempt to collect personal information through fake verification requests. We are also taking additional measures to prevent these messages and protect our community

Discogs will never ask you to verify your account through a Group, Forum, or other social space.

If a message appears phishy, ask yourself: MUST U act? Each letter is a reminder of what to check: message, urgency, sender, tone, and URLs. When even one of these is suspicious, do not select the link.

For more information about how to stay safe online, check out our guide on how to identify and avoid phishing scams.
