We know it's frustrating to see page errors or slow processing times when submitting, editing, or exporting data.
New features, bug fixes, and enhancements have been introduced on Discogs over the past few weeks. As a result, we've seen an increase in site usage and a load on our servers.
We've put a hold on deployment of new features for a few weeks, while we work through tweaks to our system that will provide greater stability and speed. There are long-term solutions that we are working towards, but over the course of this week, we are making real-time adjustments so that we can grow our capacity to meet the increased demand for our services.
Any idea when this is going to be sorted?
ReplyDeleteIt is safe to assume that sellers are receiving less orders and it is hard to progress existing orders.
Slow is bad enough but it is not working at all a lot of the time.
Doesn't really tell me much, what kind of time span are we looking at to get the site functioning again?
ReplyDeleteI have tried entering a "Draft" of a release twice now and it is not appearing. Just wondered what is going on with that?
ReplyDeleteCan you please advise *CLEARLY* somewhere when the site is formally up and running again, so users can know. (perhaps here again?)
ReplyDeleteThis is important! As many users (including myself) are finding it too hard to submit when things are not working/displaying properly. As we cannot tell when we as users have made mistakes or not. i.e. what are our errors vs. site bug errors.
I think this is how many users feel here :-(
Thanks in advance.
Good to here.
ReplyDeleteCan you let us know when this has been completed please, as bugs seem to still be around the site, and users don't know if they are known about, and if so, are still on course to being fixed.
Thanks.
