Update Thurs 13th 2pm (PDT): It's been hard to duplicate the problems mentioned but we've found one problem area and made corrections to it. Please let us know if you're still experiencing the same types of problems. thanks
Update Thurs 13th: Some new issues have reappeared, we are now in the process of fixing them.
Update 10:30 AM (PDT): We've found the cause of this problem, fixed it and things are back to normal now. The reason this happened is I was running some maintenance commands which inadvertently caused an error with mysql replication, and this caused replication between our servers to stop. I'm now updating our monitoring systems to detect this type of problem and notify us immediately if it happens again. ~Kevin
Update 9:00 AM (PDT): We've removed a server from the pool to stop the inconsistent display of information. We're currently working on resolving the problem and will keep you updated as things change. The site may be slower while we're working to get that server back up. All information submitted to Discogs should be intact. ~simfonik
Monday 10th: The site is currently experiencing problems - it appears a server is out of sync, and information entered into the site is not appearing, but may appear again on subsequent reloads.
The system admins have been notified of the problem and we will work to resolve it as soon as possible.
In the meantime, it is advisable not to attempt to post information to the site, either to the database, or the forums etc.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused.

ReplyDeleteMost pages are intermittently taking between 2.5 to 5 minutes to load here...
ReplyDeleteWaiting for yui.yahooapis.com... this has been going on for at least the last 48 hours, on and off.
ReplyDeleteSorry for all the repeat posts, but when I adblock the string yui.yahooapis.com browsing functions well again, however i cannot add or remove anything from my collection or wantlist.
ReplyDeleteThis is normal as all the add&remove features seem to be handle through the YahooUI javascript framework.
ReplyDeleteIt's currently almost impossible to upload pictures for artists or labels.
